Who is responsible

What is collected

Only what you submit through the contact form — name, organization and role, your message, engagement type, timeline, and how you found this site. Analytics: one Google Analytics 4 cookie, with IP anonymization, loaded only after you explicitly accept it; declining loads nothing.

Why, and on what legal basis

To respond to your inquiry and, where a conversation continues, to conduct it (GDPR art. 6(1)(b) and (f); LGPD art. 7, II and IX). Analytics runs only on consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a); LGPD art. 7, I). Nothing else. No profiling, no automated decisions.

What is never done

Your data is never sold, never shared for marketing, never added to mailing lists. In the language of US state privacy laws: we do not sell or share personal information.

Where it lives

Submissions are stored with our hosting and database providers and delivered by our email provider, under data-processing agreements; where data crosses borders (EU, US, Brazil), recognized safeguards such as standard contractual clauses apply.

How long

Inquiries are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted — or immediately upon your request, at any time.

Your rights

Wherever you are, you can request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your data, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent at any time — by emailing talktome@rodrigodealvarenga.com. EU residents may also complain to their supervisory authority; Brazilian residents to the ANPD; California residents have the rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing (there is nothing to opt out of — see above).
